चित्रकूट यात्रा गाइड

चित्रकूट में प्रभु श्री राम अपने वनवास अवधि के साढ़े ग्यारह वर्ष, देवी सीता और अनुज लक्ष्मण के साथ बिताये थे। चित्रकूट पौराणिक महत्व रखने के साथ साथ ऐतिहासिक, धार्मिक, भौगोलिक और वन्य जीव sanctuary होने की वजह से भी जाना जाता है।

चित्रकूट में स्थित प्रभु श्री राम की स्मृतियाँ सहेजे विभिन्न स्थलों के साथ ही जानेंगे यहाँ कैसे पहुंचे, कहाँ रुकें, कब आयें सहित अनेकों महत्वपूर्ण एवं रोचक जानकारियां।

चित्रकूट के प्रमुख आकर्षण में से एक है यहाँ बहती मंदाकिनी नदी, जिसे पयस्विनी नदी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। मान्यता है कि इसी नदी के तट पर भगवान श्री राम ने अपने पिता महाराजा दशरथ को तिलांजलि दी थी। इसी नदी के तट पर कई घाट हैं, जिनमें से कुछ हैं रामघाट, कैलाश घाट, जानकी घाट, राघव घाट आदि। घाटों के तट पर विभिन्न देवी देवताओं, ऋषियों को समर्पित कई मंदिर भी स्थित हैं।

वर्तमान में यहाँ रामघाट में प्रतिदिन होने वाली सायंकालीन आरती, तीर्थयात्रियों के चित्रकूट आगमन के अनुभव को अविस्मरणीय बनाता है। इस समय मन्दाकिनी नदी पर चलती रौशनी जगमगाती रंगों से भरी नावें आकर्षक लगती है।

स्वामी मत्यगजेंद्रनाथ अथवा स्वामी मत्यगयेंद्रनाथ रामघाट में स्थित एक प्रमुख मंदिर है – मान्यता है – कि भगवान ब्रह्माजी ने इसी स्थान पर यज्ञ किया था। यज्ञ के प्रभाव से निकले शिवलिंग को स्वामी मत्यगजेंद्र नाथ जी के नाम से जाना जाता है। प्रभु श्री राम यहां पर वनवास काल में आए तो उन्होंने चित्रकूट निवास के लिए स्वामी मत्यगजेंद्रनाथ से आज्ञा ली थी।

सावन के माह और महाशिवरात्रि में यहाँ बड़ी संख्या में श्रदालु में शिवलिंग पर जलाभिषेक करते है. स्वामी मत्यागयेन्द्र नाथ जी के दर्शन से शोक, भय और अवसाद से मुक्ति मिलती है।संध्या आरती के बाद – उत्तर प्रदेश पर्यटन द्वारा द्वारा मन्दाकिनी नदी पर लेज़र शो और 30 मिनट की भगवान राम पर आधारित एक फिल्म दिखाई जाती है। जो यहाँ पँहुचे तीर्थयात्रियों के अनुभव को और भी सुंदर बनाती है।

इसके बाद पर्यटन विभाग द्वारा आयोजित होने वाला फाउंटेन शो बेहद आकर्षक लगता है। Light and Sound तकनीक द्वारा मन्दाकिनी नदी में लेजर शो द्वारा प्रभु श्री राम के जीवन पर आधारित एक लघु फिल्म यहाँ आने वाले लोगों को आनंदित करती है।

चित्रकूट की भूमि में, पग – पग पर प्रभु राम के चरणों ने स्पर्श किया होगा, यह विचार ही श्रदालुओं, के हृदय में असीम आनंद, पवित्रता और उमंग भर देता है।

उत्तर प्रदेश – जहाँ देवता मानव रूप में अवतार लेते है। प्रभु श्री राम और श्री कृष्ण ने यहाँ की पावन भूमि में जन्म लिया और इस भूमि को उनकी लीलाएं देखने का भी सौभाग्य मिला।

भारत में उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के 75 जिलों मे से एक है – चित्रकूट, इस जनपद के पडोसी जिले है – उत्तर प्रदेश के बाँदा, फतेहपुर, कौशाम्बी, प्रयागराज और मध्य प्रदश में सतना।

चित्रकूट पहले बाँदा जिले का ही भाग था. जो 6 मई 1997 अलग जिले के रूप में अस्तित्व में आया, शुरू में जिले का नाम छत्रपति शाहू जी महाराज नगर रखा गया था, और लगभग 16 माह बाद, 4 सितंबर 1998 जिले का नाम शाहू जी महाराज नगर से बदलकर चित्रकूट कर दिया गया।

चित्रकूट मे चार तहसीलें है, जिनके नाम हैं – कर्वी, मऊ, मानिकपुर और राजापुर

चित्रकूट धाम का कुछ एरिया चित्रकूट जिले के बाहर मध्य प्रदेश मे भी है – यह मुख्यतः 5 गाँव या कस्बों का समूह है, जिनमे उत्तर प्रदेश में चित्रकूट जिले के कर्वी तहसील दो कस्बे सीतापुर और कर्वी तथा मध्य प्रदेश में सतना जिले के तीन कस्बे कामता, कोहली और नयागाँव शामिल है।

6 मई 1997 को हुआ, बाँदा जनपद से एक हिस्से को अलग कर अलग जनपद बना जिसका नाम आरम्भ में छत्रपति शाहू जी महाराज नगर रखा, और 4 सितंबर 1998 को जिले का नाम चित्रकूट कर दिया गया।
